New Delhi, Apr 17 – Stating that about 24,000 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said there is a shortage of Oxygen and Remdesivir in the city.
‘About 24,000 cases have come in the last 24 hours. Positivity Rate exceeds 24 per cent. There is a shortage of Oxygen, Remdesivir in Delhi,’ Mr Kejriwal said while addressing a digital press conference here.
He further said that there is a limit to any health infrastructure.
‘We are trying to increase beds. In 2-4 days, we will be able to increase the beds on the big scale,’ Mr Kejriwal said.
‘Our main objective is to increase Oxygen Beds, within 2-4 days, we will be able to increase 6000 beds,’ the Delhi Chief Minister further said.
